We have however still really enjoyed being able to play in the yard with the boys. We even bought a new 'park' as the boys call it and they have played on it almost every day.
The home had a little bit of a country feel with the checkered curtains and the faux painting/staining on the walls. They also had furniture that was too large. We had to repaint the entire first floor. Below are before and after pictures of the dining room and the family room. The before pictures on are the left and the after on the right.

There are three bedrooms upstairs (and 1-2 in the basement for anyone that wants to visit). They were not however fit for our sons. With us living between Green Bay and Milwaukee, it was important for me to make sure that the boys did not forget their heritage and upbringing. So we tranformed their bedroom from the ugliest shade of blue ever to TWO other more important shades of blue.

Consider this an open invitation to come and visit us anytime. There is much more to see, like the basement and the boys' toy room.
By the way, I think that this took me way longer than it should of and longer than it would have taken Shawna.
love all the space you guys have! i am jealous!! =)
ReplyDeleteSweet 'Park'! I will definitely need to bring my son to visit...he needs some play time with other boys! There are way too many female hormones in this house...
