the week before Christmas!!

So here I am finally catching up on my blog posts.....and I have so much to share! I will start with our week before Christmas and what a great week it was!! We started it out by stopping to visit Santa at the mall. Last year did not go very well, so I was preparing the boys in the car on the way there. We talked about how Santa is very nice and we don't have to cry if we are a little scared! They didn't love him by any means but there were no tears, from the big boys! Lawsen did not like him and let everyone know that. The picture doesn't really show him crying but he was. This was his first time with Santa and he survived!

Monday December 21st, we drove to the Wisconsin Dells to meet our good friends, Matt, Jill and their kids Kenneth and Kirsten. We stayed 2 nights at the Great Wolf Lodge and had a great time! It worked out great that it was the week of Christmas and was not too busy at all! The boys had a great time, as they always do, and it's such a great getaway in the midst of the nasty winter weather. There are a few pictures of the big boys having some fun in the water. The last picture is the boys with Kirsten, they really love her!!! It was a great start to a great week!!
