Christmas in Ohio!

11 hours, two 2-year olds and a 1 year old in a van on a road trip to Ohio.....sounds like fun, right? It actually wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Jensen and Owen LOVE watching movies so I knew that they would be fine, but my sweet 1 year old loves to be on the move and I wasn't sure how he would do. He was great....the last hour was the worst but nothing a few of his favorite snacks couldn't handle! So we made it safely and had a fabulous trip. We were there for nearly a week. The entire family was together, minus Allysen, and it was so great. The first picture was at a place called "Rule 3" and it was a blast! It had mini-bowling and a great arcade....so much fun for everyone.


Lawsen and Ian, only about a month apart, had a good time checking each other out. It will be fun for them to have each other to play with while they grow up!

ROCKBAND.....the greatest invention ever. I'm not musical at all but fell in love with playing the drums! I can't wait to go back and play some more!

Well, all in all it was a great trip. The New Year's Eve bash was cut short when we had to take Lawsen to the ER at the Children's Hospital with what ended up being croup. We stayed overnight with him and he was able to leave the next morning. Now that we are in Wisconsin, we are very far away so we treasure our time with Rob's family as it doesn't happen all that often.
