We have been wanting to visit the Shedd Aquarium for quite a while, and we saw that they were having community days and we were going to be in Chicago that weekend anyway. So we went a couple of days early and made a special trip! We had a great time looking through all of the aquariums. The boys really enjoyed seeing all of the animals! We ate lunch and then made our way to the penguin and dolphin area. There was a great play area that everyone loved, especially Lawsen. He had so much fun climbing in the penguin play area, except the part where a little girl pushed him and he fell! : ) He has also discovered that he loves slides! We are really looking forward to this summer when we can be outside playing on our swing set and he can slide all he wants! My sister also joined us for the trip and the boys were very excited about that! We are looking forward to going back sometime soon to this great museum!
